I've had an incredibly mellow weekend. I couldn't sleep Friday night, after a fairly BLECH day at work, so I watched some QAF Season Five, which was also very BLECH. Considering how long they took to put it together, how brief it was, and it being the final season and all, I was just expecting more. Oh well

And he's performing with Sheryl Crowe, which is just about the most exciting thing EVER. This is going to be such fun.

I AGREE 'DEVIL' WAS JUST VERY FUN, AND MERYL MADE IT WORTH IT. BUT, I FEEL SHE JUST MADE EVERYONE ELSE LOOK LIKE ACTING AMATEURS PLAYING AROUND. EVERYTHING ELSE ABOUT THE FILM LOOK MORE SILLY BY COMPARISON WITH HER.

The most entertaining silly movie I've seen in quite awhile!

I adored Meryl's polar split between Cruella DeVille/Anne Wintour to depressed divorcee, though she never broke character while going in separate directions.

I had to talk myself out of a $100+ purse splurge this weekend. They are, by far, my favorite thing to purchase.

I know it's really hard to come to realize that maybe $100+ dollars should go towards something else (like food or bills). For me, it's a 3 way tie for first place: purses, shoes and (of course) Beatles stuff. hah imagine how excited I get when I find a really cute pink Beatles purse!

So I just spent a little, uh, 4-day jaunt in the Beaumont Hotel. :(

I'm home again, with more tubes, feeling betterish.

Come play? We could probably even leave the premises and go see a girly movie. Maybe?
