[He's been dozing off quite a bit lately. You cant blame him, he's been doing all-nighters and short naps.

But at the first sound of noise he jerks up in his hair, the legs hitting the floor as he jumps and looks around for any suspicious activity. Needless to say, the only suspicious activity is Sen on the bed with--]

[She can't blame him at all, really. She's too busy trying to get Sen off of her so she can try and sit up. But that's not working so well, so when Hope speaks, she jolts and turns to look at him. For a moment raw relief and something else show on her face before she smiles softly.]

[Because it's a bit belated, Sen has had the chance to move and not end up caught in the hug. He's just barking happily as Lightning gets bowled over by that hug. It takes a moment, but she does wrap her arms around Rise. Is she holding on tighter than normal? Yes. She is.]

[ like Rise minds. She's holding on just as tightly, which... is really nothing new for her. ]
