Someone has replaced me with a Skrull! It's the only explanation I can think of for today...

I've been for a long walk all the way around Dinton Pastures country park; I did some gardening *and* went for a bike ride. Sadly the bike ride was only about a mile, but it's a good start... if I can do that circuit a few more times, getting my knees ( Read more... )

Pendulum @ The Radio One Big Weekend

We've been watching the highlights of the Radio One Big Weekend on BBC3. Most of it looked uninspiring (for me anyway), but I Wish I'd been there to see Pendulum's set!

It's nice to see a band take that extra bit of time to spice up their songs for a live performance :)

I've started going through my vast library of photos to clean up my computer. The garbage is being deleted, the soso is being archived and the rest is going to be uploaded to Flickr.

Today's batch was more Stormtroopers from Whitby 2006, two of a very young Johnny and one of Whitby's skyline photoshopped to hell and back ;) photography

One of the most entertaining bands I"ve seen live is playing Winchester's Railway Inn on the 25th of April. If you've got the chance, go see DeadDogInBlackBag.

Early this morning we went for a walk through the woods in the fresh, crisp snow to see if we could catch any birds out and about. Luckily we did. Our ever elusive Robin wasn't quite so shy today :)

Normally having a bout of insomnia is a bad thing... but it's really nice to see the sun slowly come up, just as it starts to snow. It's been snowing here since about 5:30, so as you can imagine... everything has a nice thick layer of white.

We're going to venture out with the cameras.... so expect lots of photos later on :)

It's only taken 3 months to get the results back, but I passed with flying colours. Visual awareness and the written part came back with Excellent and Technical quality was Outstanding ( Read more... )
