What's so wrong with being busy?

It's that time of year again. I am in need of a summer job. I thought I might have been working at York, but even if I do get some opportunities to go up north and do some research, it won't earn me anything to save. Now, where to start?

So tonight I was babysitting. One of the children, a 10 year old boy, was watching a disaster show on Discovery. The show was exploring possible causes for an explosion in a chemical plant. Today I go to York to meet with my supervisor and the other grad student in my lab. I also get to claim a desk in the lab. I can't believe I'm this excited about it!

I need better icons. Anyone bored enough to help me out here?

Today I defeated the level 5.9+ climb. The beast threw me off a couple of times but I didn't give up! Unfortunately, it took a lot out of me. I'm going to have to work on my endurance. I'm considering going climbing sometime this weekend... this stuff is

Yesterday I went to York to check out the Grad Apartments. They're ok. In the first building I checked out, well... I could make it work if I had to. The other building I checked out was actually nice. It even smelled like cinnamon when I walked into the front lobby. YORK! I have been accepted into the Masters of Science biology program at York University. Of all the professors I have talked to, this supervisor at York was my first choice. He's very awesome, and enthusiastic. Though I haven't signed anything yet, I plan to accept the offer. So as of September 2006 I will be living in Toronto!
