Agreed with all you said. of course, Rose is still my favourite, but Amy, I think, will be great. And so is Matt Smith.

I disagree on the theme - it sounded very old school to me, bringing the original sound effect back into the fore. (that said, my favorite is still the Series 2 one with the running strings in the background).

It was a good ep, though. I'm not completely sold and die-hard on it, but I enjoyed it. :)

I was truly pleased with the First Outing. I loved Wee Amelia, and I think I shall like Amy a great deal, especially if she doesn't go all Sally Sparrow-flat emotional affect on us and perhaps retakes her childhood name.

I also hated the theme music. And I've heard them all because I am Old Beyond The Imagining Of It. This one takes the worst of the old Grainer/Derbyshire outings and enlarges on them. In a bad way.

Still? I am looking forward to next week, I most certainly am!
