Man, I'm political lately.
I'm pretty disgusted when I see people react to the news of some atrocity somewhere with an attitude of "Why should we care? That group has done ___ terrible thing in the past." With the situation in Iran right now, I'm seeing comments scattered across the internet saying no one should care because "the Muslims fight with everyone they come in ( Read more... ) -
I'm going to look like a jerk if I don't post this
If there is one person or more on your friends list who makes your world a better place just because they exist and who you would not have met (in real life or not) without the internet, then post this same sentence in your journal.
It's true, though.

Terminator Salvation
Since Friday, I've seen Terminator Salvation, actually slept in for once, and gotten fabric for the fairies. My weekend has been pretty awesome so far.
I get to sleep in tomorrow, too, so even more awesomeness will ensue.

Productive day today!
In the 3 1/2 hours since I got home, I have done the following:
-Finished beading and sewing a pillowcase I'm making for someone
-Wrote ~1800 words, which were all awesome

For you I will gladly watch Hugh Jackman and nearly set off the smoke alarm with too many candles on the cake. Anytime. Really, twist my arm.
(Haters out there: don't take the movie too seriously and even the bad/ridiculous parts are enjoyable.)
