Upside of global financial crises: the British pound is $1.53, and the Euro is $1.26. Also, I've never had enough money to feel comfortable investing, so my money is still in the bank (and insured by the FDIC, should the bank fail), only marginally devaluing at the difference between interest and inflation. Europe, anyone?

Yeah... my 401(k) from work just sent an annual update: -11% return over the year. Luckily, I was putting in the level of contribution work would match, so with their free money, I still come out ahead.

And my plan (hopefully) is Egypt, not Europe... unless I get an overseas master's degree next year...
