What do you do for work? And how long do you drive for it? I have realized that working in SoCal is all about the traffic. Desperate people are willing pay money to use the "fast track" lanes so they can avoid half an hour of traffic. I suppose it's worth it considering that's going to be days of driving saved in a year.

Ironically, I sell women's clothing at South Coast Plaza in Newport Beach. Apparently I'm doing really well at it too. Who knew?

Newport Beach? That's hip! And it's good that you are excelling at it. Now I can see why you said it'd be a bitch to work at retail during holiday seasons. These new price drops will whip any woman into an alpha-she-male mode where they'll stop at nothing to get the goods.

Yeah, working retail around Christmas can really be a pain. Hope that you can get through the season with sanity intact.

Just wanted to say I've been thinking of you, wishing you were here. I was going through old lj posts and reminiscing about how we used to watch shoujo and talk all night. =) Hope things turn up for you. And despite the fact that retail might be driving you crazy, I wish you happy holidays!

I have both, technically, though I can't get my DVD player to work. Seems both the TVs I have are too old to work with DVD players. I still prefer DVD though, even if I can't watch anything on it for a while.

Aww! You're getting a present, too. I just haven't finished making them yet.
