Sophia went to spend the weekend with her father this weekend. Usually I really enjoy these weekends alone because I can relax, diffuse some of the stress that's been building up, and get some cleaning and other errands done. But this weekend I've really missed her. I did go and see Capote, which was an amazing film

He sounds like he's trying. Maybe give him a little slack with the fiance picking her up?

Those hours and he's a surgeon, too (in his residency). Pretty scary, isn't it? That's the American medical training system for you.

He's trying more because he's living with his fiance now, which means SHE can watch Sophia. He can't seem to take care of her at all by himself. Before they moved in together he'd see her once every 3 months maybe, for 2 days, and he'd take her down to his mom's so he could get help. It's more often now, thankfully.

As far as the driving goes, I don't think he wants his fiance to do it at all. He's very secretive about her and their relationship. In fact, I've never even met her, which I think is rather strange, but I haven't pushed him about it yet. I'm not sure what his problem is really.
