We were talking about the Roslin/Adar affair over at rememberlaura, and I thought I'd put this part of an early script version of "Epiphanies" up.  Obviously, some things changed.

FWIW, you'd be amazed at how many screenplays and tv scripts that go to production are clunky as bricks. I never really understood how hard pro tv actors work to sell their lines and make them workable, but then I sat next to a produced screenwriter on a plane and man, his work was a steaming pile of turd! Same goes for the sides I've read from tv eps, and film scripts that have been released as extras...maybe it's just the kind of writing the genre calls for, but I don't think most of those writers would know "flow" if it smacked them with a bag full of frightened kittens. It's amazing the work that directors and actors do to ensure everything makes sense and can stand on its own.

Oh, yes! I have a really hard time reading scripts and plays straight, and when I do see what's on the page vs. what's onscreen, the difference (meaning the work the actor put into it) is just amazing.

This is the worst of the worst fanfiction out there.

I know! I cringed when I read that. At first I was picturing this nice image with him pressing his lips to her stomach ... and then ... NO, JUST NO!!!

And yes, it's blowing raspberries (burp??) and you're absolutely right, it's usually something done when playing with an infant!

Anything in a nice hotel suite with bubblies involved should be good right? How did they manage to screw it up so badly?! just dreadful. full stop.

I don't mind the pairing at all--I kind of really love that they went there with Laura.
