I understand, and I appreciate it, but if guidance counselors and possibly student resource officers are brought into the picture, charges could be pressed against me and my friends. This isn't just them against me, this is them + authority figures against me. These things are in print. If they believe her, I'm pretty much screwed.

i don't think you could get into trouble. You didn't make a single threat. The only thing you said was for them to go to hell. That's nothing that anyone would take seriously. The school won't do anything about it, because it's not their problem. Don't worry about it though. Sean, on the other hand, may have a problem, but not you, so don't worry.

Busted for what? Talk is cheap. If I got in trouble every time I thought about how I wanted to "kill somebody", I'd be locked up in Walla Walla. Bottom line is that it's all idioms and phrases. Nobody actually wants to inflict physical harm in real life, and I don't see how anyone showed any intent of doing so. Just chill, it's fine. People can say what they want, since they aren't directly inciting violence (ie. yelling 'fire' in a crowded room).
