A few days after my birthday, I ended up meeting up with Shereen and her brother, Amine, in Tokyo. They had already seen most of the major places in Tokyo such as Akihabara, Tokyo, Shibuya, and Shinjuku. Japan doesn't have any sort of Christmas vacation, but they do have a holiday called Golden Week. Because of this, I was able to get 5 days off from work to go to the Kansai area in Japan. My friend Luc introduced me to this site Muxtape. It seems to be one of the better mixtape sites where you can actually upload your own mp3's, rather than choose from a database of songs. The layout's pretty simple, and all you have to do is click on a song to play it.

The long, frustrating process of getting an apartment has finally come to an end. I found a place in a city called Sagami-Ono. I'm pretty happy with it; it's about 450 a month, newly rennovated, on the second floor with a nice view, and about a five minute walk to the train station.
