You'll spend your career playing Halo at the bottom of the ocean. But the opportunities for free education are astounding, and you'll get to spend your time in the company of people who actually have something between their ears. I'd know; They tried to recruit me for Nuclear.
If I remember correctly (And I could be wrong), you'll need at least a 95 percentile ASVAB score, but I'm sure you can manage it.
Yeah, got a 98 with what was quite possibly the worst hangover I've ever been punished with. Is the ASVAB a joke, or what?
STA-21 is a good program. You'll basically get paid to go to college wherever the Navy drops you (Hint: Probably California). From there, you'll do the whole ROTC thing, but as a prior-enlisted guy, you'll get a little more respect (And responsibility).
Dude, if you've got any questions about the military, you know where to find me.
I'll likely do so. Mostly I just need to get started on a physical training program, which I'll be doing tomorrow once I get everything sorted with recruiting and going to MEPS.
This is the right direction to go, and feels amazing to finally get over my worries and just -do- it.

I'm planning on going seaman-to-admiral as soon as possible, and will take full advantage of the education, trust me.
