I went to see the bodyworlds exhibition in Manchester today, the one where that dude cuts cadavers up and arranges them in interesting and sometimes informative ways then showcases them to the world. Have just been reading about TAZ's by Hakim Bell; don't know if anyone has ever come across them before? It's funny because I actually read all abut this when I was researching for my rave dissertation many moons ago, but then I forgot all about them, and just now I've stumbled across them again and it's making me smile. I am begining to remember why it was I havn't yet finished reading Naked Lunch. It sorta reminds me of 'the electric kool aid acid test' in that it actively seeks to disorientate you, only Burroughs also makes sure no one sentence follows on neatly from the last and unlike the kool aid test there is absolutely no order to be found at all. Listened to the radio program on the famous recently deceased again. This time we had the father of Chaos theory, A scream queen from one of the old hammer horrors, a poet, a politician and someone else. Was again a nice way to remember the dead. Made me smile.
