sometimes something happens that makes me miss you so much.

at this stage it should be said this could be nothing or this it could be great
and all my grand plans could be thrown into disarray but i must take the blame.
the temptation is rife to follow your lead color your eyes to take the chances
to take the chances whilst you have them.

as i slipped from unconsciousness to consciousness this morning, the words "abre tu ojos, abre tu corazon" were on my mind. i then spent the next five minutes debating the grammar of that sentence, because i don't think "abre" is the correct verb tense, and i couldn't remember if corazon was el or la. and i couldn't remembered if that mattered. i know i'm several years late on this one, but ronderlin's wave another day goodbye is really good. all music guide's review seems to think their songs are too derivative, and that the album gets a little "redundant", but i have to say i don't agree. it is a really solid album all the way through, and they do a really great job of combining ( Read more... )
