What me and my family are up to when summer changes to autumn. HARVEST! For a change I have some personal pics for you lol NOT ME! JUST THE HARVEST PRODUCTS!
[harvest]We take what the wood gives us? And all that shit lol These are blackberry bushes (blackberries aren't ripe yet in the pic). This year the blackberries stayed rather small, so collecting

That's a good point. So we eat and then we FIGHT THOSE ZOMBIES! I'm pretty certain we can survive this zombie apocalypse, tbh *gives you confident but slightly scared thumbs up*
Oh wow, what a perfect toadstool for a fairy to sit on! Edited to say - wow to your productivity too. That's quite the harvest. I'd love to taste your apple juice!
I think it's the most perfect one I saw this year, tbh!
Hah, yeah. Come over and you'll get a glass. I think, all in all, it was 160 liter. We always pour a little bit water into the glass with the apple juice too, to thin it down, so it should last for some time!
I actually eat all the things above, except for them damn chanterelles. lol And I don't know what we did to our potatoes this year, but they grew huge, yes.
If your hubby ever feels inclined to share his recipe for the salsa, please leave it at my doorstep. I mean, we have all tomatoes processed, but I would love to try it next year!
That's a big-ass potato! And looks like a really good harvest - you probably need a big freezer. :D I'm a bit sad that our balcony plants produced only <10 cherry tomatoes this summer.
This year the potatoes were especially big. Good for making fries! lol The products are all strewn over our freezers. A lot at my parent's. I have huge bags with cauliflower florets in my freezer.
Nooooo, they did? :( Why? I'm sorry. Hopefully you'll have more luck with your tomatoes next year!
This was our first time trying to grow anything here in Germany, so we're not really sure what the problem was. Possibly it didn't help that we left everything for two weeks during the summer when we visited Finland, but we did have a watering system set up. Not sure if the fact that our balcony is higher up (third floor) plays a role. Our first attempt at cocktail cucumbers produced about 10 of them though. :)

Goodness, I could never get enough tomatoes! My hubby often makes a big ol' batch of salsa, and that keeps forever in a jar. Tasty all year round!

We had more than two pounds of tomatoes growing on the balcony, and that's about as much as I can get. :DDD

Two pounds of tomatoes are good. Two pounds are better than no tomato!
