Ugh! I fell down the stairs and sprained my ankle once and it was torture. Then, I stupidly went to the grocery store on crutches a few days later. Big mistake.

All this to say, I feel your pain and I hope you're back on your feet soon!!

Haha. Thanks. Yeah... I'm hoping to get out even a little tomorrow. I've been inside two days. HOwever, since I am clumsy all on my own..... I am very clumsy on crutches too.

Thanks for the well wishes.

HUGS!!! If it will help, I can go kick that curb's ass...? I also know the feeling - I blew my ankle out something fierce playing softball last year... 25-year-old who haven't slid since they were 13 should NEVER attempt it... part of me tried, part of me didn't, and all of me regretted it. I never got crutches tho, so probably not quite as bad. A coworker tried to loan me a pair, but they were for people 5'10" and up, so all I got from trying them once was a bruised armpit... lol

So... I hope it gets better quickly, don't worry too much about relying on others because remember the more you rely on them NOW the shorter the time you'll need to! =)

Shit. Mine are made for my height and my armpit is still getting bruised...the one on the injured side. Thanks for the advice about relying on people. It just sucks that I am loosing money on my summer job. Oh well. At least I got to sleep in today and it was 11 by the time I ate breakfast??

yeah, losing money does suck... tho I will admit there are days when I'd take an unpaid day off just to sleep in and be able to be lazy!!! Someone suggested once w/ crutches to wrap the top part with a towel (like a folded up handtowel - and use rubberbands to hold it on)... supposed to be a little more cushioning? might end up with "towel-burn" tho? No clue, since I've never actually tried it.

Hope it's feeling (at least a little) better!

Hmm...an idea I may have to try....if I can find rubber bands. The latest is that after I left the house yesterday and got down the side walk to see John's Dad's new car and got back inside.... now my palms are hurting!

It never ends!
