so driving home this evening, i was behind a huge chevy van with bumper sticker reading: "i'm changing the climate. ask me how!" the woman driving was 60ish, and looked like your average berkeley hippy. am i mistaken in seeing a bit of irony in this? i can't tell.

I'm not quite sure I understand the irony... Explicame. But I do like the bumper sticker -- the weird part is use of the word "climate," when I first read it I was thinking "environment" and that she had a hybrid car or something. But climate, hmmm, I know that inordinate amounts of methane in the atmosphere can severely alter a local climate, maybe this woman has some major pyrotechnic gas problems... I'm gonna go watch "law + order" now, what a quality show. Cariño querida!

vehicles that get around 12 miles to the gallon might very well be changing the climate through greenhouse effect. was the sticker in reference to this? most likely not. maybe i'm wrong. i should have just followed her home and asked her, as she had invited me to do... i myself, just wrapped up 30 min. of elimidate: the elimmys (like the grammys, get it?) i don't watch much tele, but when i do, it's got to be quality. nothing makes me feel better about me than elimidate. that is probably not for sharing, but i can't keep the truth in. wow. it's bedtime.
