In regards to slash pairings not being plausible, and one character being obviously straight, I have to disagree. Obviously not with every slash pairing, but with quite a lot of them
( ... )
Unfortunately I'm not very articulate when it comes to explaining things :s It's really annoying that the media hardly portrays gay or bisexual characters at all. I mean, on the point of implausibility, it's ridiculously unlikely to have a large group of people as portrayed in many shows and have them all be strait. It's just silly.
I guess I find a lot of pairings implausibility in general, including a lot of het pairings.
It's just my taste though I guess. I know a lot of people see chemistry when I don't or don't see chemistry when I do. I guess a big part of fandom is exploring shows in the way you want too, which is going to be different for different people.
I really don't mean to offend anyone. Thanks for your opinion. It's really good to see people online with really valid, reasonable arguments :)
