He's not necessarily dead, as far as this strange place is concerned! I haven't been able to figure out how the system works yet, but I do know that people can be pulled from anytime in their own timeline. He could still show up, Jack.

I can't. If I stop, I might forget, and I promised I never would. I can't risk forgetting all that's happened, Doctor, surely you understand that.

I'd like to believe that, I really, really, do. However, I don't know if them being stuck in this city is what I want either.
