Do you listen to podcasts, fandom or otherwise? Sometimes
If yes, which? I used to listen to the One Tree Hill one Hilarie did for her character Peyton but they haven't done it for the last few seasons. That's really the only one I've ever listened to. Other than the one the morning show did for the radio station I listen to.
If no, why not? What would a podcast have to feature for you to listen to it? N/A
Would you be likely to listen to a podcast that covered "fandom in general," discussing different aspects of fandom with possible guest-speakers (mostly fans) contributing discussion? Possibly
Or would you be more likely to listen to a podcast that directly addresses a particular show that you fan? I'd probably be more inclined to listen to one for a show I already watch.
What do you think about a podcast about fanfiction in general? Specific to a show? I've never really listened to those. Doesn't mean I wouldn't though. It would probably depend on the fandom it was for.
How about one about meta in general? Specific to a show? Not ( ... )

1. Do you listen to podcasts, fandom or otherwise? Yes
2. If yes, which? A bunch. Podshock (a Doctor Who podcast is my fav), WhoCast, Snape Cast, the Official Lost podcast and several others when bored.

4. Would you be likely to listen to a podcast that covered "fandom in general," discussing different aspects of fandom with possible guest-speakers (mostly fans) contributing discussion? Interesting idea. Maybe. I think they'd have to use some fandoms I liked as examples. Also, it would depends on which topics were covered.
5. Or would you be more likely to listen to a podcast that directly addresses a particular show that you fan? This is mostly what I listen to. I love the reviews of eps, etc.
6. What do you think about a podcast about fanfiction in general? Specific to a show? Fanfic is a vast topic. It would likely be hard to cover unless you focused on one fandom at a time and even then you'd likely only be touching the surface. I'd more likely only listen to one for a show I liked and then only if they were covering pairings ( ... )

There are no unhelpful answers!

Thanks for the feedback -- I'm actually a lot like you in the read fic/boards, etc. but not big into the podcasting/vidding/etc. aspects of fandom. Hence, the survey. hehe :)

Hey, you might know me as 2BlckBlt from ff.net. and I searched to see if you were on LJ. Anyways...
1. Yes
2. Squint Squad (Bones)
3.
4. Possibly one about fanfiction
5. I would prefer one about a show I enjoy. Crystal and Logan's Squint Squad is a great example. I recomend you check it out on Itunes.
6. I would, as I said about find a podcast about fanfic entertaining. There are truly great writers out there and it would be wonderful to get their writing to other people
7. I think that spoilers, news, synopisis, character analysis, fan fiction, and more could all be incorporated.
