I feel so much better now knowing that my little Gracey is feeling better too! My Gokou and I took her to the doctors for a check-up to make sure everything was ok, and she checked out fine. In fact, the doctor even said that she was advanced for a baby her age, maybe we have another genius in the family ;) We have to take her back in a few months ( Read more... )

Today in my Gotens cooking class, he'll be teaching how to make sushi. My Gokou is really excited about this because he loves to eat fish and this is just a new way of doing that! Despite the odd sleeping schedule, Grace has been an angel these past few days. It didn't take me very long to figure out the reasons she cries... she's either hungry or needs to be changed. I know that by now everyones heard Peanut has been born because I think just about everyone visited me and the baby yesterday in the hospital. 3 days until Peanut makes their entry into this world. I guess if you count today it's 4 but 3 just sounds so much closer! While these last 9 months have been an experience, (sometimes good, sometimes bad), I'm definately ready for this pregnancy to end. I'm so excited the day is almost here!

My Gokou certainly had a busy day! Since the snow on the ground has almost completely disappeared he decided to go outside and do some yardwork today after morning training. It's February now and as my Gokou has said already, Happy Peanut Month. In less than 2 weeks, Peanut will be joining us in the outside world. Yesterday, Kia was kind enough to take me into town with her to do some shopping in case I'd forgotten anything for Peanut when he/she comes out into this world. Oddly enough, I found a stuffed animal.. well fruit actually, that would go along perfectly with the one that my Gokou brought back with him. I think this one is suppose to be an apple.
