I don't know if I can do this. I say it all the time and people think it's a joke. I've done this before, two deployments down, one coming up sooner than I ever expected. Where did the time go? First, a big thank you to your husband for doing what he does. Your entry really made me think about how a family functions during a deployment, and the emotional issues you face. I love your advice, particularly to fix problems before bringing them up. It seems small, but very thoughtful. I hope your husband returns safely.

I joke that if he didn't  see it, ti didnt happen. I crash his car every deployment and once during an underway I drove into the garage door. But everything is always fixed before he gets home. To be fair though, he fixes everything he cam before he leaves. He has a few smaller fixes still before he deploys this time.
