i'm writing a play

I'm back in Chicago!

The Stereotype Party was ridiculous!
I should never drink that much!

Today's been a bad day.
It's been saved only by cereal and Aesop Rock.
I'm working on making it better.

I have most of my books now and a few groceries but I still need to get my suitcase unpacked some time before school starts.

I'm home!

Hooray winter break!

I've spent the majority of the day knitting and watching television and reading and eating chocolate cake.

Oh, and playing with the most amazing Christmas card in the world. It has a pony and a Christmas tree and somehow, when you open it, it's my dad's voice yelling "Joyeux Noel! Joyeux Noel!" over and over and

Everything's complete. Well, almost.

I'm on a train in less than four hours, regardless.

The only thing that needs to happen before that (besides getting to the train station) is the reading of the final 100 pages of Midnight's Children.

I'm ready for a good long train trip.

To be on the wire is life. The rest is waiting.
