JaeJoong was deep in thought, thinking with a sad expression on his face and sat still besides the still sleeping YunHo. Normally he would try not to think about the past, thinking about everything he had lost and his lovely sister was making him always depressed. But sometimes, when he had nothing to do, the memories from the past were not that easy to suppress. JaeJoong smiled sadly when he looked down at YunHo and caressed YunHo’s cheek softly. He was happy that YunHo was born in a other time than he was, things were easier now than when he was still young. JaeJoong would have stayed longer besides YunHo, who would be awake in a few minutes if he had not heard something he didn’t expected. He heard the voices from two vampires he hasn’t spoke for almost thirty years, what wasn’t long for him as a vampire but still, he was surprised. JaeJoong frowned but didn’t looked worried. The two vampire were not dangerous for him or his bloodline, they were his blood-brothers and they had the same problems as he had. The two vampires who ware here to visit him were created more than two hundred years before him by the same vampire. They had already left their creator but they had stayed in touch, and when JaeJoong was still a young vampire, confused and a little afraid for his new life, they had come back to help their creator and they had helped JaeJoong with all the problems he had. The two older vampires had given him advise and he had loved them as if they were his real birth brothers. But when JaeJoong was also ready to leave his master when he had learned everything he needed to know as a vampire, they separated and had gone each another way.
JaeJoong checked for one last time if YunHo was all right and left the room. He headed downstairs and opened the door for his two brothers. “JaeJoong! How are you doing?” Laughed his eldest brother Hyun Joong and hugged him. Hyung Jun hugged him next and they both looked curious at JaeJoong. “Come inside!” JaeJoong opened the door to his home a little further and invaded his two brothers inside and smiled apologetically at his brothers. “I’m sorry, but I can’t give you anything to drink, I have nothing at home” said JaeJoong and listened carefully if YunHo was still inside his room. He noted that YunHo still was where he had left him but to his irritation he noted that his hearing was too weakened for him to hear if his mate was still asleep or not. “The human who is upstairs is awake but still inside his room and in his bed, probably not aware from or presence in this house” said Hyun Joong thoughtful and looked at the staircase. Hyung Jun sat down in the chair that was standing in the corner from the living room and looked seriously at JaeJoong. “Why haven’t you asked us for help with finding a human mate? Are you sure that you have made the right decision?” Hyung Jun looked like Hyun Joong at the staircase and listened to the sounds he heard from YunHo. “Yes, I have made the right decision” answered JaeJoong immediately and wondered how his brothers had heard about his mate and from who he had heard it. The only person who had saw YunHo was Kyu Jong but as far as JaeJoong knew were Kyu Jong and his brothers not in touch with each other.
“From who did you know that I have found my mate?” JaeJoong was still not worried but simply curious and wondered if his creator was also nearby. “We have watched you because it’s almost time for you to start the ritual, the first time is always difficult because you don’t know what to expect what is going to happen, even now that we have told you about it and the things you have learned from us and or creator. But because you have never done this before you see that it is very difficult and hard to do. We were here to help you search for a human mate and to help you with the ritual, but…” The two brothers both glanced ominously at each other and then at JaeJoong. “For how long are you and your mate already together? When have you saw him for the first time and when have you given him you protection for the first time?” Hyung Jun sounded worried, as if JaeJoong had done something wrong with his bonding between himself and YunHo, but he answered without hesitation. “I have seen YunHo for the first time when he was still a little child and I have protected him from that moment on. And I’m bonded with him for more than one week now.” JaeJoong saw that the expressions from his two brothers chanced and he now felt a bit worried. “Why? Why is it important to you? There are no rules about the human mates who I could have choose, the human mate is only needed to help me, to take care of me when I’m on my weakest, it is important that they are safe and in no danger, so why are both of you so worried?” JaeJoong was sure that he had listened careful at his creator when he had told JaeJoong everything about the ritual and JaeJoong was sure that it was not important where who the human mate was or where they had met for the first time.
Hyung Jun ignored JaeJoong’s question and asked JaeJoong a question in return. “How is your mate? Is he already used to his new life and more important, to you? Will he trust you, even when you want him to do something dangerous?” JaeJoong looked alarmed up at his brothers and did not like how the conversation went. “I don’t know why both of you wants to know this, but YunHo is not stupid and even if he trust me, then he still is not stupid enough to do something dangerous on his own, and I certainly don’t want to force him to do something what could harm him!” JaeJoong folded his arms and started to doubt if he had made the right decision to invite his brothers into his house. JaeJoong looked the two vampires and wondered if they would leave his house if he asked it nicely but realized that it would be useless, if his brothers wanted something, then they would do everything they could to get it, a bad habit they had learned from their creator.
“JaeJoong, we have searched for almost our whole vampire life to cure the curse from our bloodline, and we have found a way to do it. But there is only one problem… If we are right, then we need to made a sacrifice. You knew why or bloodline is cursed and what or ancestors have done to get this curse, en to undo the curse we need to sacrifice something what is essential for us, we need to offer a living human with a pure and good soul, the human must die. One of us need to offer their human mate and you are the best option.” Said his eldest brother Hyun Joong slowly. “And because we are mated with or humans for too long we can’t do it ourselves, only a vampire who has mated just recently and who still can ignore the feelings from his or her mate can do it. JaeJoong, you need to sacrifice and kill you mate and break the curse!” Hyung Jun now looked cold at him, he wanted to do everything to break the curse, even if he needed to force his younger brother to do it! “NO! Have you gotten insane?” Yelled JaeJoong and backed away from his brothers. “I’m not doing this! Are you really able to ask me this, to be alone for the rest of my life, without the only person I love? You are no longer my brothers if you want me to be unhappy! I live a cursed life rather than a life without YunHo!” JaeJoong shivered from the anger he felt and wanted to punish his brothers for this betrayal! “Leave, leave MY house and never come back! We are no longer brothers!” Yelled JaeJoong and ignored the fact that YunHo was upstairs and could hear him. He only wanted one thing now, he wanted to be alone with YunHo and to break all his ties with the two vampires before him. “We can’t do that” said Hyung Jun and did a step closer to JaeJoong. “You will hate us for doing this now, but once you will understand that we only wanted to help you and ourselves.” JaeJoong hissed and catered all his power to defend YunHo and to force his brothers out of his home. His eyes colored green and when he looked at his two brothers he saw that their eyes were also colored, their eyes were both brown and were shining with power. JaeJoong knew that his brothers were stronger than he was, they were older and were working together while he was alone and weak. JaeJoong was afraid for YunHo’s welfare and was ready to die while he tried to protect his mate.
But before JaeJoong even could tried to push the two vampires away he had already lost, Hyun Joong had grabbed him by his arm and had forced him to lie down on the floor. “Bring the human here, but don’t be cruel to him, it is not necessary to made him more afraid than he already is.” Hyung Jun nodded and left the room. “NO! Stop! You can’t do that to me!” Screamed JaeJoong and tried to push Hyun Joong away. “He is mine! Stay away from him!” JaeJoong struggled but was not strong enough to free himself from Hyun Joong’s strong grip. “Don’t struggle!” Yelled Hyun Joong annoyed, “we are only trying to help you! This is for you own protection! It will be over in a few seconds.” Hyun Joong sighed and looked him straight in his eyes, “listen, I knew that you are angry right now, but this is really the only option we have! In order to break the curse we NEED to sacrifice the blood from a innocent human. You will understand it later and I promise you that we, you brother and I will help you to recover from you lost.” JaeJoong noted that his brother spoke the truth, but it was a truth he only believed. He seemed to really believe in his own story and he believed that he really did the right thing, but this was not right, not for him and YunHo! They were trying to force him to do something he didn’t wanted, they were taking everything away from him he loved and what special to him! YunHo was his mate, his life and his soul! A vampire could only mate once in his or her whole life and if his brothers would take YunHo away from him then he would never be happy again in his whole, endless inhuman life! Yes, he and his brothers, every vampire in his bloodline was cursed, but if he could erase the curse by killing YunHo then he would be still cursed after all, he would be cursed with a half, unhappy and lonely life, till the end of time. JaeJoong really didn’t understand why his brothers wanted to hurt him like this! He loved YunHo and killing him would be the same as killing JaeJoong!
JaeJoong felt helpless now that he was so weak and with YunHo in danger, he now could only think about one thing and that was hurting and stop his brothers. He knew that it was creasy to try, but he had no other choice and he… bite his brother, in his arm. He bite his brother as hard as he could and with only one thought in his mind and that was hurting his brother long enough for him to stop him so that he could break free from his hold and to bring YunHo to a safe place. Hyun Joong screamed and yelled angry at him, he even removed his arm from JaeJoong to inspect the wound JaeJoong had created. JaeJoong didn’t thought long about what he could do next and he pushed his elder brother away from him and ran, he ran as fast as he could and searched for YunHo who was still upstairs. “YunHo! Hide! You’re in danger!” JaeJoong almost flied upstairs and… He heard a scream…

YunHo had a strange dream that day, he had dreamed about a girl who could have been JaeJoong’s sister, or maybe a sibling. He had found the dream strange and he hasn’t understand anything of it. When he woke up the first thing he did was looking around for JaeJoong and noted that the vampire was not around. The bed besides him was cold and he knew that JaeJoong had left him when he was asleep but he also knew that he had stayed with him. The bed sheets next him were wrinkled. YunHo was not sure if he was happy about that, he remembered how safe he had felt when JaeJoong was with him and now that JaeJoong was gone he felt… Alone. Curious what time it was he looked at his watch and saw that it was already evening and he knew that it would already be dark outside. He also knew that it was time for him to leave his bed and to look for JaeJoong, the vampire had not ordered him to stay inside his room this time, but his bed was so soft and warm… YunHo yawned and wondered if he had still time to sleep a little bit longer. But before he could have made a decision he heard something from downstairs. YunHo tensed and listened to the sounds he could hear and it seemed like… like JaeJoong was shouting? But against who? And why? And at that moment a thought stuck to YunHo, they were maybe not alone in this house! YunHo listened again and now he was sure that JaeJoong was shouting angry at somebody. YunHo shivered and looked around him, searching for something he could use as a weapon because he was not sure if he was in danger or not. He didn’t knew much about JaeJoong, who he was and other personal things, but there was one thing he was sure of, and that was that JaeJoong would never shout at somebody if it was not needed. YunHo was also afraid that if the person who was downstairs wanted to search for him, and that person was a vampire like JaeJoong, he had no chance at all to escape! JaeJoong had told him that he was weak now, and even now that JaeJoong was not in a good condition, he was still impossible strong and now he wondered if the person who was arguing with JaeJoong was also weak, like JaeJoong, or… YunHo was afraid that if the person was not weak like JaeJoong, he could attack them! YunHo pulled as fast as he could his clothes on but didn’t found something he could use as a weapon.
“NO! Stop! You can’t do that to me!” YunHo almost yelled from the shock when he heard JaeJoong screaming. YunHo was now really panicking and looked around him, wondering if he could escape through the window, but at that moment he knew that it was useless. JaeJoong had ordered him to stay inside the house when he had entered the house for the first time and he couldn’t disobey JaeJoong. He knew that he was trapped… YunHo closed his eyes and learned against the wall, his whole body shivered and the fact that he didn’t heard anything from JaeJoong anymore was frightening him more than hearing him shout at somebody. He heard sounds in the hallway and… A person stood in his doorway! YunHo swallowed and heard how the person did a slow step inside his room. “Don’t be afraid, this will be over soon” said the intruder. YunHo opened his eyes and stared at the person who had entered his room and saw that… the person was a vampire! YunHo ran immediately away from the vampire and pressed his back against the wall on the other side of the room. “Go away!” Yelled YunHo bravely but saw to his horror that the vampire ignored him and stepped toward him.
“Don’t be afraid of me, I don’t want to hurt you” the vampire lied and he grabbed YunHo by his arm. “Let go of me!” Protested YunHo with a shaking voice. He hated it that he was such a coward but he knew that it was only stupid to fight a vampire. JaeJoong had told him once that he wanted to teach YunHo how to fight, but he had still not learned anything and didn’t knew how to fight now that he was in danger. He also wanted to know first were JaeJoong was and hoped that if he saw JaeJoong everything would be okay. The vampire dragged him out of his room and just when he wanted to push YunHo forward he saw something and tried to pull YunHo back. But the vampire underestimated YunHo and when YunHo saw that JaeJoong ran toward him he started again with struggling while the vampire was still holding him. The vampire cursed and grabbed YunHo by his neck, ready to beat him unconscious. YunHo’s eyes widened in fear when he saw what the vampire wanted to do and screamed JaeJoong’s name! “JaeJoong! Help me!” YunHo closed his eyes again, trying to prepare himself for the pain but… Nothing happened! YunHo looked up and saw that the vampire who was holding him lay on the ground with a painful wound on his head. YunHo looked worried around him and saw JaeJoong standing, he looked warningly at something behind YunHo… Quickly and with a terrified glance he looked behind him and saw a second vampire. The vampire looked angry at JaeJoong and he was standing right between the two dangerous vampires! “Come here” said JaeJoong with a commanding tone and stretched out his arm, ready to pull YunHo away from the vampire who was still standing behind him. YunHo did immediately what JaeJoong had ordered him and ran toward JaeJoong. JaeJoong grabbed him by his arm when YunHo was close enough and placed YunHo’s shaking body behind himself. “JaeJoong, don’t disobey us, we are you brothers and we are caring for you. Listen to us and do what we’re saying!”
“NO!” Growled JaeJoong and narrowed his eyes. “If you want to break that curse then you need to search for another victim but I am NOT helping you with this and you can’t force me to do this to YunHo!” YunHo looked confused at JaeJoong and wondered what was happening and why those vampires were here, and what did they want from JaeJoong? And more important, why were they talking about him? JaeJoong had told him a little about a curse, but he didn’t knew enough to knew what was happening with him. “Leave my house, NOW!” Yelled JaeJoong again and pointed with his free hand at the door downstairs. “No, I can’t” said the other vampire and walked over to his fallen brother. The vampire helped his fallen brother in a sitting position and YunHo saw that the vampire was already awake AND his wounds were had almost healed! YunHo grabbed JaeJoong by his arm and pressed his body closer against JaeJoong. He wanted to feel that JaeJoong was with him, to feel that he was not alone with those dangerous vampires. YunHo remembered how afraid he had been when he had saw JaeJoong for the first time and he had thought then that JaeJoong was a monster, but now? YunHo knew now better, JaeJoong was not the monster but the vampires who tried to attack them were the ones who were dangerous!
JaeJoong had apparently seen the same thing as he had when he looked at the two vampires and knew that he needed to act quick. YunHo felt how JaeJoong pulled him against his chest and he whispered something in YunHo’s ear, he whispered so soft that only YunHo could hear him. “Climb on my back and hold yourself there, and when you’re in danger again then you can run, you need to run as fast as you can and hide, okay?” YunHo was afraid but he nodded and trusted the vampire, he didn’t knew why, but he knew that he would be safe with JaeJoong and that he would protect him as long as he could. “What did he say” asked Hyung Jun, who was now fully recovered. The vampire looked annoyed with JaeJoong bud didn’t dared to attack him again without the support from his elder brother. “I don’t know” said the other vampire and looked doubtful at JaeJoong. “Don’t try something stupid” warned Hyun Joong and glanced quickly at his younger brother. “NOW” Yelled JaeJoong and pulled YunHo up and pressed him against his back, exactly when the other two vampire ran toward them! JaeJoong did the only thing he could think of and jumped with YunHo still on his back through the window and landed precisely on his feet. YunHo screamed when JaeJoong had jumped and had thought that he would die, nobody would survive it to survive it after a jump from this height! But JaeJoong had survived it and the only thing what had happened was that YunHo’s whole body shook from the impact.
YunHo looked up at the house and saw the two vampires standing in the window frame, ready to jump after them. “JaeJoong, they are following us!” Yelled YunHo and pressed himself closer against JaeJoong’s back, not knowing what would happen next and if the two vampires would kill him today. He hoped that JaeJoong would be faster than the other vampires but they were forming a team while JaeJoong was alone and burdened with him! “Hold yourself!” Shouted JaeJoong and ran away from the house, faster than YunHo had thought was possible! He saw everything around him as in a blurry and he heard the whistling of the wind around him, but strangely he was not bothered by the wind and had no problems with breathing. YunHo had been afraid that he couldn’t breath while JaeJoong was running so fast, but apparently there was no problem at all! YunHo thought that it has something to do with JaeJoong’s vampire power or something like that… YunHo trusted JaeJoong, but he was still afraid of the vampires behind them and the fact that he hung on the back from a vampire who ran twice the speed he had thought was possible. He hoped that JaeJoong was fast enough to outrun the two vampires but when he looked over his shoulder he saw that the two vampires where close behind them! They did not run fast, as if they were testing how fast JaeJoong could run with him on his back… The two vampires didn’t looked exhausted and they even looked relaxed while they ran behind them! “JaeJoong, they are testing you!” YunHo looked worried at JaeJoong’s face and saw that he was not in a good condition, he seemed tired… “I know” said JaeJoong with a tired voice and tried to run faster than he already did, but it didn’t worked, the two vampires were still following them easily.
The two vampires were talking with each other while they followed them and suddenly one of them ran faster, looking with a determined expression at them! “JaeJoong! One of them is coming!” Shouted YunHo and looked terrified behind him. This time said JaeJoong nothing to him in response, he stayed quiet and… he stopped! He turned around and faced the two vampires who wanted to attack them and had followed them. “Stay behind me” said JaeJoong tense and YunHo obeyed immediately. JaeJoong didn’t needed to force him to stay behind him, in YunHo’s opinion was the only safe place right now being with JaeJoong and staying behind him gave him a little hope, he hoped that JaeJoong knew what he was doing and that everything would be okay. He didn’t understand what the two vampires wanted from JaeJoong and why they were in danger now, but he suspected that it has something to do with JaeJoong’s past or the fact that JaeJoong was weak right now. But… Did the two vampires knew that JaeJoong was weak at the moment? YunHo pressed his face against JaeJoong’s back and looked in another direction than where the two vampires were standing now, he didn’t wanted to see them and he didn’t wanted to know if they were coming toward them or not.
“Don’t be stupid brother, listen to you family and do what we’re telling you.” The vampire who had spoke stepped forward toward JaeJoong and pointed out his hand to JaeJoong. “Come JaeJoong, give the boy to us and I promise you that we’re doing it quick and that it would be painless.” YunHo still didn’t looked where the two vampires were talking about but he listened carefully to what they were saying. His breathing haltered when he realized where JaeJoong and the two other vampires where arguing about, he realized that the vampires were fighting about him! The two vampires who had attacked him wanted him! YunHo looked in horror up at JaeJoong and couldn’t believe what was happing to him. “J- JaeJoong, where are they talking about? Are they here… for me?” YunHo’s voice trembled and to his horror he saw when he looked up at JaeJoong's face that it was true, the two vampires wanted to have him and they were fighting with each other about him! “No” said JaeJoong angry and looked at the two other vampires, “they are not here to take you away from me and if they would try it I will kill them.” JaeJoong sounded really furious and his eyes were green again, as if he was preparing himself to attack. But YunHo wasn’t stupid and he saw the same thing as the other vampires, JaeJoong was tired… “I won’t give you away” said JaeJoong suddenly and glanced quickly at him. “JaeJoong, this is your last chance” the vampire who had pointed his hand toward JaeJoong stepped back and didn’t looked friendly anymore at JaeJoong. The other vampire spoke now directly to YunHo with a not so friendly tone. “Yes, boy. We are talking about you. And if you love JaeJoong then you’re coming with us. You can safe JaeJoong and make him strong again if you’re doing what we are telling you.” YunHo felt how JaeJoong grabbed him by his arm and pulled him closer toward himself. “Stop this!” Shouted JaeJoong. “Not before the boy has died!” Shouted the eldest vampire back.
“Nobody would be killed, not now and not ever!” Said a strange voice from behind them and a dark figure appeared in the shadow underneath a old tree. Just when YunHo looked at the figure he saw that JaeJoong and the other two vampires immediately knelt before the man in respect.

Will he trust you, even when you want him to do something dangerous?” JaeJoong looked alarmed up at his brothers and did not like how the conversation went. “I don’t know why both of you wants to know this, but YunHo is not stupid and even if he trust me, then he still is not stupid enough to do something dangerous on his own, and I certainly don’t want to force him to do something what could harm him!” JaeJoong folded his arms and started to doubt if he had made the right decision to invite his brothers into his house. JaeJoong looked the two vampires and wondered if they would leave his house if he asked it nicely but realized that it would be useless, if his brothers wanted something, then they would do everything they could to get it, a bad habit they had learned from their creator.
“JaeJoong, we have searched for almost our whole vampire life to cure the curse from our bloodline, and we have found a way to do it. But there is only one problem… If we are right, then we need to made a sacrifice. You knew why or bloodline is cursed and what or ancestors have done to get this curse, en to undo the curse we need to sacrifice something what is essential for us, we need to offer a living human with a pure and good soul, the human must die. One of us need to offer their human mate and you are the best option.” Said his eldest brother Hyun Joong slowly. “And because we are mated with or humans for too long we can’t do it ourselves, only a vampire who has mated just recently and who still can ignore the feelings from his or her mate can do it. JaeJoong, you need to sacrifice and kill you mate and break the curse!” Hyung Jun now looked cold at him, he wanted to do everything to break the curse, even if he needed to force his younger brother to do it! “NO! Have you gotten insane?” Yelled JaeJoong and backed away from his brothers. “I’m not doing this! Are you really able to ask me this, to be alone for the rest of my life, without the only person I love? You are no longer my brothers if you want me to be unhappy! I live a cursed life rather than a life without YunHo!” JaeJoong shivered from the anger he felt and wanted to punish his brothers for this betrayal! “Leave, leave MY house and never come back! We are no longer brothers!” Yelled JaeJoong and ignored the fact that YunHo was upstairs and could hear him. He only wanted one thing now, he wanted to be alone with YunHo and to break all his ties with the two vampires before him. “We can’t do that” said Hyung Jun and did a step closer to JaeJoong. “You will hate us for doing this now, but once you will understand that we only wanted to help you and ourselves.” JaeJoong hissed and catered all his power to defend YunHo and to force his brothers out of his home. His eyes colored green and when he looked at his two brothers he saw that their eyes were also colored, their eyes were both brown and were shining with power. JaeJoong knew that his brothers were stronger than he was, they were older and were working together while he was alone and weak. JaeJoong was afraid for YunHo’s welfare and was ready to die while he tried to protect his mate.
But before JaeJoong even could tried to push the two vampires away he had already lost, Hyun Joong had grabbed him by his arm and had forced him to lie down on the floor. “Bring the human here, but don’t be cruel to him, it is not necessary to made him more afraid than he already is.” Hyung Jun nodded and left the room. “NO! Stop! You can’t do that to me!” Screamed JaeJoong and tried to push Hyun Joong away. “He is mine! Stay away from him!” JaeJoong struggled but was not strong enough to free himself from Hyun Joong’s strong grip. “Don’t struggle!” Yelled Hyun Joong annoyed, “we are only trying to help you! This is for you own protection! It will be over in a few seconds.” Hyun Joong sighed and looked him straight in his eyes, “listen, I knew that you are angry right now, but this is really the only option we have! In order to break the curse we NEED to sacrifice the blood from a innocent human. You will understand it later and I promise you that we, you brother and I will help you to recover from you lost.” JaeJoong noted that his brother spoke the truth, but it was a truth he only believed. He seemed to really believe in his own story and he believed that he really did the right thing, but this was not right, not for him and YunHo! They were trying to force him to do something he didn’t wanted, they were taking everything away from him he loved and what special to him! YunHo was his mate, his life and his soul! A vampire could only mate once in his or her whole life and if his brothers would take YunHo away from him then he would never be happy again in his whole, endless inhuman life! Yes, he and his brothers, every vampire in his bloodline was cursed, but if he could erase the curse by killing YunHo then he would be still cursed after all, he would be cursed with a half, unhappy and lonely life, till the end of time. JaeJoong really didn’t understand why his brothers wanted to hurt him like this! He loved YunHo and killing him would be the same as killing JaeJoong!
JaeJoong felt helpless now that he was so weak and with YunHo in danger, he now could only think about one thing and that was hurting and stop his brothers. He knew that it was creasy to try, but he had no other choice and he… bite his brother, in his arm. He bite his brother as hard as he could and with only one thought in his mind and that was hurting his brother long enough for him to stop him so that he could break free from his hold and to bring YunHo to a safe place. Hyun Joong screamed and yelled angry at him, he even removed his arm from JaeJoong to inspect the wound JaeJoong had created. JaeJoong didn’t thought long about what he could do next and he pushed his elder brother away from him and ran, he ran as fast as he could and searched for YunHo who was still upstairs. “YunHo! Hide! You’re in danger!” JaeJoong almost flied upstairs and… He heard a scream…

YunHo had a strange dream that day, he had dreamed about a girl who could have been JaeJoong’s sister, or maybe a sibling. He had found the dream strange and he hasn’t understand anything of it. When he woke up the first thing he did was looking around for JaeJoong and noted that the vampire was not around. The bed besides him was cold and he knew that JaeJoong had left him when he was asleep but he also knew that he had stayed with him. The bed sheets next him were wrinkled. YunHo was not sure if he was happy about that, he remembered how safe he had felt when JaeJoong was with him and now that JaeJoong was gone he felt… Alone. Curious what time it was he looked at his watch and saw that it was already evening and he knew that it would already be dark outside. He also knew that it was time for him to leave his bed and to look for JaeJoong, the vampire had not ordered him to stay inside his room this time, but his bed was so soft and warm… YunHo yawned and wondered if he had still time to sleep a little bit longer. But before he could have made a decision he heard something from downstairs. YunHo tensed and listened to the sounds he could hear and it seemed like… like JaeJoong was shouting? But against who? And why? And at that moment a thought stuck to YunHo, they were maybe not alone in this house! YunHo listened again and now he was sure that JaeJoong was shouting angry at somebody. YunHo shivered and looked around him, searching for something he could use as a weapon because he was not sure if he was in danger or not. He didn’t knew much about JaeJoong, who he was and other personal things, but there was one thing he was sure of, and that was that JaeJoong would never shout at somebody if it was not needed. YunHo was also afraid that if the person who was downstairs wanted to search for him, and that person was a vampire like JaeJoong, he had no chance at all to escape! JaeJoong had told him that he was weak now, and even now that JaeJoong was not in a good condition, he was still impossible strong and now he wondered if the person who was arguing with JaeJoong was also weak, like JaeJoong, or… YunHo was afraid that if the person was not weak like JaeJoong, he could attack them! YunHo pulled as fast as he could his clothes on but didn’t found something he could use as a weapon.
“NO! Stop! You can’t do that to me!” YunHo almost yelled from the shock when he heard JaeJoong screaming. YunHo was now really panicking and looked around him, wondering if he could escape through the window, but at that moment he knew that it was useless. JaeJoong had ordered him to stay inside the house when he had entered the house for the first time and he couldn’t disobey JaeJoong. He knew that he was trapped… YunHo closed his eyes and learned against the wall, his whole body shivered and the fact that he didn’t heard anything from JaeJoong anymore was frightening him more than hearing him shout at somebody. He heard sounds in the hallway and… A person stood in his doorway! YunHo swallowed and heard how the person did a slow step inside his room. “Don’t be afraid, this will be over soon” said the intruder. YunHo opened his eyes and stared at the person who had entered his room and saw that… the person was a vampire! YunHo ran immediately away from the vampire and pressed his back against the wall on the other side of the room. “Go away!” Yelled YunHo bravely but saw to his horror that the vampire ignored him and stepped toward him.
“Don’t be afraid of me, I don’t want to hurt you” the vampire lied and he grabbed YunHo by his arm. “Let go of me!” Protested YunHo with a shaking voice. He hated it that he was such a coward but he knew that it was only stupid to fight a vampire. JaeJoong had told him once that he wanted to teach YunHo how to fight, but he had still not learned anything and didn’t knew how to fight now that he was in danger. He also wanted to know first were JaeJoong was and hoped that if he saw JaeJoong everything would be okay. The vampire dragged him out of his room and just when he wanted to push YunHo forward he saw something and tried to pull YunHo back. But the vampire underestimated YunHo and when YunHo saw that JaeJoong ran toward him he started again with struggling while the vampire was still holding him. The vampire cursed and grabbed YunHo by his neck, ready to beat him unconscious. YunHo’s eyes widened in fear when he saw what the vampire wanted to do and screamed JaeJoong’s name! “JaeJoong! Help me!” YunHo closed his eyes again, trying to prepare himself for the pain but… Nothing happened! YunHo looked up and saw that the vampire who was holding him lay on the ground with a painful wound on his head. YunHo looked worried around him and saw JaeJoong standing, he looked warningly at something behind YunHo… Quickly and with a terrified glance he looked behind him and saw a second vampire. The vampire looked angry at JaeJoong and he was standing right between the two dangerous vampires! “Come here” said JaeJoong with a commanding tone and stretched out his arm, ready to pull YunHo away from the vampire who was still standing behind him. YunHo did immediately what JaeJoong had ordered him and ran toward JaeJoong. JaeJoong grabbed him by his arm when YunHo was close enough and placed YunHo’s shaking body behind himself. “JaeJoong, don’t disobey us, we are you brothers and we are caring for you. Listen to us and do what we’re saying!”
“NO!” Growled JaeJoong and narrowed his eyes. “If you want to break that curse then you need to search for another victim but I am NOT helping you with this and you can’t force me to do this to YunHo!” YunHo looked confused at JaeJoong and wondered what was happening and why those vampires were here, and what did they want from JaeJoong? And more important, why were they talking about him? JaeJoong had told him a little about a curse, but he didn’t knew enough to knew what was happening with him. “Leave my house, NOW!” Yelled JaeJoong again and pointed with his free hand at the door downstairs. “No, I can’t” said the other vampire and walked over to his fallen brother. The vampire helped his fallen brother in a sitting position and YunHo saw that the vampire was already awake AND his wounds were had almost healed! YunHo grabbed JaeJoong by his arm and pressed his body closer against JaeJoong. He wanted to feel that JaeJoong was with him, to feel that he was not alone with those dangerous vampires. YunHo remembered how afraid he had been when he had saw JaeJoong for the first time and he had thought then that JaeJoong was a monster, but now? YunHo knew now better, JaeJoong was not the monster but the vampires who tried to attack them were the ones who were dangerous!
JaeJoong had apparently seen the same thing as he had when he looked at the two vampires and knew that he needed to act quick. YunHo felt how JaeJoong pulled him against his chest and he whispered something in YunHo’s ear, he whispered so soft that only YunHo could hear him. “Climb on my back and hold yourself there, and when you’re in danger again then you can run, you need to run as fast as you can and hide, okay?” YunHo was afraid but he nodded and trusted the vampire, he didn’t knew why, but he knew that he would be safe with JaeJoong and that he would protect him as long as he could. “What did he say” asked Hyung Jun, who was now fully recovered. The vampire looked annoyed with JaeJoong bud didn’t dared to attack him again without the support from his elder brother. “I don’t know” said the other vampire and looked doubtful at JaeJoong. “Don’t try something stupid” warned Hyun Joong and glanced quickly at his younger brother. “NOW” Yelled JaeJoong and pulled YunHo up and pressed him against his back, exactly when the other two vampire ran toward them! JaeJoong did the only thing he could think of and jumped with YunHo still on his back through the window and landed precisely on his feet. YunHo screamed when JaeJoong had jumped and had thought that he would die, nobody would survive it to survive it after a jump from this height! But JaeJoong had survived it and the only thing what had happened was that YunHo’s whole body shook from the impact.
YunHo looked up at the house and saw the two vampires standing in the window frame, ready to jump after them. “JaeJoong, they are following us!” Yelled YunHo and pressed himself closer against JaeJoong’s back, not knowing what would happen next and if the two vampires would kill him today. He hoped that JaeJoong would be faster than the other vampires but they were forming a team while JaeJoong was alone and burdened with him! “Hold yourself!” Shouted JaeJoong and ran away from the house, faster than YunHo had thought was possible! He saw everything around him as in a blurry and he heard the whistling of the wind around him, but strangely he was not bothered by the wind and had no problems with breathing. YunHo had been afraid that he couldn’t breath while JaeJoong was running so fast, but apparently there was no problem at all! YunHo thought that it has something to do with JaeJoong’s vampire power or something like that… YunHo trusted JaeJoong, but he was still afraid of the vampires behind them and the fact that he hung on the back from a vampire who ran twice the speed he had thought was possible. He hoped that JaeJoong was fast enough to outrun the two vampires but when he looked over his shoulder he saw that the two vampires where close behind them! They did not run fast, as if they were testing how fast JaeJoong could run with him on his back… The two vampires didn’t looked exhausted and they even looked relaxed while they ran behind them! “JaeJoong, they are testing you!” YunHo looked worried at JaeJoong’s face and saw that he was not in a good condition, he seemed tired… “I know” said JaeJoong with a tired voice and tried to run faster than he already did, but it didn’t worked, the two vampires were still following them easily.
The two vampires were talking with each other while they followed them and suddenly one of them ran faster, looking with a determined expression at them! “JaeJoong! One of them is coming!” Shouted YunHo and looked terrified behind him. This time said JaeJoong nothing to him in response, he stayed quiet and… he stopped! He turned around and faced the two vampires who wanted to attack them and had followed them. “Stay behind me” said JaeJoong tense and YunHo obeyed immediately. JaeJoong didn’t needed to force him to stay behind him, in YunHo’s opinion was the only safe place right now being with JaeJoong and staying behind him gave him a little hope, he hoped that JaeJoong knew what he was doing and that everything would be okay. He didn’t understand what the two vampires wanted from JaeJoong and why they were in danger now, but he suspected that it has something to do with JaeJoong’s past or the fact that JaeJoong was weak right now. But… Did the two vampires knew that JaeJoong was weak at the moment? YunHo pressed his face against JaeJoong’s back and looked in another direction than where the two vampires were standing now, he didn’t wanted to see them and he didn’t wanted to know if they were coming toward them or not.
“Don’t be stupid brother, listen to you family and do what we’re telling you.” The vampire who had spoke stepped forward toward JaeJoong and pointed out his hand to JaeJoong. “Come JaeJoong, give the boy to us and I promise you that we’re doing it quick and that it would be painless.” YunHo still didn’t looked where the two vampires were talking about but he listened carefully to what they were saying. His breathing haltered when he realized where JaeJoong and the two other vampires where arguing about, he realized that the vampires were fighting about him! The two vampires who had attacked him wanted him! YunHo looked in horror up at JaeJoong and couldn’t believe what was happing to him. “J- JaeJoong, where are they talking about? Are they here… for me?” YunHo’s voice trembled and to his horror he saw when he looked up at JaeJoong's face that it was true, the two vampires wanted to have him and they were fighting with each other about him! “No” said JaeJoong angry and looked at the two other vampires, “they are not here to take you away from me and if they would try it I will kill them.” JaeJoong sounded really furious and his eyes were green again, as if he was preparing himself to attack. But YunHo wasn’t stupid and he saw the same thing as the other vampires, JaeJoong was tired… “I won’t give you away” said JaeJoong suddenly and glanced quickly at him. “JaeJoong, this is your last chance” the vampire who had pointed his hand toward JaeJoong stepped back and didn’t looked friendly anymore at JaeJoong. The other vampire spoke now directly to YunHo with a not so friendly tone. “Yes, boy. We are talking about you. And if you love JaeJoong then you’re coming with us. You can safe JaeJoong and make him strong again if you’re doing what we are telling you.” YunHo felt how JaeJoong grabbed him by his arm and pulled him closer toward himself. “Stop this!” Shouted JaeJoong. “Not before the boy has died!” Shouted the eldest vampire back.
“Nobody would be killed, not now and not ever!” Said a strange voice from behind them and a dark figure appeared in the shadow underneath a old tree. Just when YunHo looked at the figure he saw that JaeJoong and the other two vampires immediately knelt before the man in respect.
