a friend once echo'd to me a question he had heard, i beleive it be from the zen tradition.

"would you rather wear chains of lead or chains of gold." then he explained that both gold and lead were equally heavy. the lead and gold were supposed to represent good and evil. it might be a koan for all i know maybe it's just a proverb, either way i could'nt stop thinking about it and finally it sunk in, ping.
