I hate being as judgemental as I am...but I can't help it. Some peoples actions just disturbe me to the point of disappointment, annoyance, so on and so forth. The thing is I can't say anything because some of my friends do such things. To be honest, yes. But I do promise you that it isn't about your new boyfriend. You're happy with him, and that's a good thing. It sucks being in the rumor mill, but all that matters is you and him and how you feel about each other.

It's not that you did anything to get yourself in trouble. I just think it's irresponsible of you to drink to get drunk. That's an abuse of the alcohol. It's good that your in a friendly environment, and I know you don't drink and drive, but it just bothers me when people make it their goal to get drunk.
