its official. as of the end of this semester, i will no longer be a student at Southwestern University. I have learned that i have no motivation to be here since that fucking bitch dr. russell made me out to be the biggest music idiot on the planet

music theory. i have a feelign she might not be here much longer...lots of students are complaining to the provost about her.

ive just really lost motivation. i worked my ass off in school for 12 years...6 of them trying to get into this school in particular. ive just burned out pretty much. its an amazing school and im sure you would do great...but its not the place for someone who lost motivation half-way through their second semester.

I don't see it as a "failure". The fact that you've gained something from the experience actually makes it much more of a success. It's great that you've found what you'd really like to do; most people haven't yet (and many won't ever).

yeah laney i agree with ^. you found something you really really love and you're going for it. that in itself is both brave and admirable.

you're not a failure babe and you don't suck at life. you're gonna be a great baker....and you'd be a hell of a chef, just as long as we don't go shopping for the groceries right before ;-) haha. screw dr russell. you gave it what you had and thats all that matters....a lesson i wish i could learn and apply to myself sometimes. i love you, you'll do good.
