Even though he was getting out of the business, he was still a music fan at heart and was happy his records were finding a good home. Record collectors are a special breed.,

Maybe he was getting out of the business because his floors were about to collapse :)

I think it was more like the wife wanted to rent out (or simply use) the grandmother cottage in the back there which was filled with all those records...
