Since our conversation last night I have been thinking about the comment you made about realizing that you do not know what you are passionate about, what compels you, what motivates your discourse with other people, and that this could be a reason why you feel disconnected from people. You said that you feel like you have nothing to add or offer. I beg to differ: I think you have an amazing intellect, a considerable capacity to love, and many other important offerings for the world. My guess is you just don't know what to be passionate about yet, or that passions you have had in the past have been extinguished in some way or another.
