I'm trying to get motivated to go practice my cello for a bit. It's not working. I know I'm just going to end up discouraged. I know half of it is the fact that it's not in good repair at the moment, but I can't afford to fix it so I'm working with what I've got. I need a second job. I think tomorrow (today) I'm going to go around and look for a second job. At least to give me a couple shifts a week. Preferably a clothing store...or something not having to do with food. But I need more money.

Also, I have to get up to DHS tomorrow so I can get my bridge card. And I might get to go to Chicago on Monday. Woo

Tonight was a huge fail in several different ways. So dissappointing.

I miss playing music. I haven't played in forever, with the exception of once last week. I picked up my cello to just play through a few pieces. It was depressing how much knowledge I've lost. I used to be able to play 3 different clefs on the cello and while I can obviously still remember bass clef, I can barely remember tenor clef, let alone ( Read more... )

So first day work yesterday was terrible. The EBT machines kept going down, which meant for every customer using food stamps (which is at least 90% of our customers), we had to spend five minutes on the phone verifying every card. So that was fun ( Read more... )
