Well, we know from episode IV that Ben did indeed 'master' Anakin. I think he'll win from pure skill and patience and that Anakin will probably make some fast and foolish move that will allow Ben to get in and finish it. We see later that Vader becomes more 'mellow' with age and is more patient and controlled in his fights. I think that the fight with Ben is what taught him that lesson.

Yeah prolly, but I still think Vader should trounce him, he’s got the power (most powerful Jedi ever), the motivation, and the skill, he is only lacking in the experience department.
That’s how I think Obi-Wan should win…just barley, through shear luck (or the Force?), or some other sort of fluke (like with Darth Maul).

But most likely it will be handled like you said it, and that will blow.

Well, the old adage says, "Old age and treachery will beat youth and skill, every time." I think it will be almost identical to the fight between Vader and Luke in Ep V.

That’s my point.
If they handled it like that, I would be cool with it.
But I get the feeling it would run more like…
“Old age sabre-fu will overcome youth, talent, skill, power level, a higher sabre competence, and pretty much everything else”.

Either one works for me.

But, from what I've learned about their Lightsaber Fighting Styles, Ani is going to trounce Obi.

Obi has a almost completely defensive fighting style (Designed initially to parry Blaster Bolts, and used as a "Meditative" and "Completely Defensive" form, used by "Diplomatic" Jedi), and Ani uses a "Strength" form that encourages attack (Used by "Defender" Jedi.).

In addition, according to ancient rumour, Ani becomes Lord Vader after a dip in Lava, so I'm putting money on "Trick".

Agreed.

But I think they will chump Vader in the end.
Sure he will come on strong, but somehow he will lose it (inexplicably), and Obi-Wan will “out-sabre” him, and that will suck.

In short, Obi Wan uses superior skill and true Jedi strength (patience, focus) to dice Anakin up something fierce. Limbs will go missing!

As much as Obi Wan is NOT Quai Gon Jin everyone has to admit that he's pretty much the shit at this point, second only to Mace or Yoda... Anakin does have strength but he is still made mostly of potential and raw talent at this point in the story.

For raw potential and power level, he definitely reigns supreme among the Jedi.

Sabre technique? He faired much better against Dooku than Obi-Wan, and that was before he was even knighted. So, the chances are that he has Obi-Wan bet in that department as well.
There are only two edges that Old Ben has…
Experience, and he’s the good guy.

I could buy it if somehow it showed Ben utilize that experience, (see trick) his way to beating Anakin.
But I doubt it, I think he will get chumped, and somehow Obi-Wan will become better than Yoda or Mace, and just plain out fight him.

And that will suck.

Also take into consideration that Anakin, while powerful, has had to divide his attention to learning many new things. These are not nearly the same characters that we left at the end of Episode II. Anakin has been advancing rapidly no doubt but he has many things he has to divy up his "experience" for, so to speak. Obi Wan has spent all this time leading troops in battle and honing his saber technique ad nauseam.

I think when you take all that into consideration it is well within the realm of believability that Obi Wan could over match Anakin just on skill alone... plus as you said, he's the good guy so that makes it hands down he's the winner. :)

For diving up “experience” I would think someone like Obi-Wan would be doling most of it out in more…passive skills like learning, understand, hugging trees, waving crystals, and being nicey-nice Jedi boy. He would be spending most of his time trying to garner wisdom, and knowledge, not “Sabre-Fu”.

Anakin on the other hand would prolly be the type that got pissed he got his arm cut off and ass handed to him, so now its time to train for payback. Besides, he has that aggressive streak in him feeding any other motives to learn ass-kickery.

I think Lord Vader has Ben beat.
Obi-Wan just has the omnipotent good guy factor.
