Moving journals!
In retrospect, I probably should've done this a long time ago. I'm gonna be journaling over at sonopants from now on, because the username isn't a godawful bastardization of the Japanese language that I came up with when I was a teenage fanthing, and because it's a hell of a lot easier to spell. MP3 players and empty voids therein
So I finally switched over to a different MP3 player, after years upon years of refusing to abandon my ancient, geriatric Sansa, which was held together with a strip of electrical tape and reduced most song titles to incomprehensible gibberish like 'afdafj;srtjiqoupfvkatpuewiogj'. Today I rode a bike for the first time in about fifteen years. It went pretty well for a first try; I didn't fall down once, although there was lots of stumbling and wobbling all over the place
... my ass really hurts.

Job!
So I finally landed a job! I'm a *cough cough* 'exhibit officer' at the local museum, which means I research information for future exhibits, write various blurbs for the display cases, wrestle with a photocopier, and run around doing errands. It's pretty quiet, and I'm mostly left to myself to get work done, which is really nice. I like it a lot ( Read more... ) -

Shit shit shit shit.
Just bought a new tablet. Now the USB slots on my laptop have decided not to work, meaning that it doesn't acknowledge the tablet's existence, and that there might not have been anything wrong with the old tablet in the first place. But on the other hand, the USB slots work fine with my USB drives, so I guess my laptop just dislikes tablets in ( Read more... ) -
