Jesse sat up all of a sudden in the middle of the night last night. "Let's get outta here!"

Jesse: Let's go outside!
Me: Jesse. It is 4:30 in the morning. Go back to sleep!

Whoa, I'm really happy right now. So this fall for us Karaites, 3 no-work holidays fall on Friday, and the 4th falls on Sunday. So after I found that out, I checked the schedule I'm planning for the fall and Fridays are EMPTY! Squee! ~excited~

My mom has been having neck pain, and her doctor initially decided that she either had a bulging or a herniated disk, and so more tests were scheduled to be done later (yesterday, actually). In the mean time, she was given some narcotics to deal with the pain. So two nights ago, she took her medicine, but found that it wasn't nearly enough to deal ( Read more... )

So my whole extended family was staying at this bed and breakfast, and in the afternoon, Jesse and I went down to the lobby to just hang out. Yesterday in Hebrew, we were doing this exercise/short story where we had to fill in the blanks with appropriately conjugated verbs, and then translate whatever we read.
