Seems like if gay kids are being mistreated because of their sexual orientation, there probably isn't ENOUGH attention being paid to this particular subject. Leave a comment

i always did the day of silence when i was in high school. it doesn't really have the same impact now that i'm in college and have to go to work.

the reactions of some people still shocks me. its so far out of my personal realm of thought.

Me thinks kids who don't fit in to the norms of their community choose to remain silent themselves and stay under the radar so that they aren't mistreated. Out of sight. Out of mind. No need to pay attention to this particular subject because the subject and the subjects doesn't exist.
