a few years ago I was tested, and what have/ had is hypoglycemia. (If you didn't know this)it is where your pancreus produces too much insulin when one eats sugar. And as long as I have that, I inherently can't have diabetes. Going off wheat hepled me control that a lot more, but I haven't been tested in a while so I could have developed diabetes, but I doubt or at least hope not.

It is actually a tile mosaic. That is one of his signature stylistic elements. The whole ceiling in the Sagrada Familia is tiled.

Gaudi? As in, gaudy? Because it is, a little bit.

And wtf happened to Jesus' face?

I'm taking sculpture next semester, and I'm going to sculpt a nude Jesus to prove you wrong.

I had heard that that is where the word came from.

the statue of jesus is supposed to be all modern and evoke the enotion and desolation of the crucifiction... yeah. I just think it looks kinda weird.

To clarify the whole only naked statue of Jesus thing... It was the only naked statue of jesus at the time, and the only one that i think is recognized by the catholic church or something. I'm sure there are other ones now. And if you sculpt a nakd jesus, well, just don't show it to the southern baptists.

I think that the the Sagrada Familia is one of the most amazing structures on Earth. We're going to be missing you for TG. Stay well, Dear.

yeah, it is amazing. I once had a dream about it years ago before I knew what it was. I saw a photo of it in a book years later which prompted me to remember my dream. I was a little freaked out then, but I knew had to see it. So that was the very first thing we did in Barcelona.
