I start off thinking about a Sandman comic (in "Three Septembers and a January," my favorite set so far), and looked up The Emperor of the United States.

This gets me briefly sidetracked reading about DC Comics' Prez, after which I move on to check out Emperor Norton Utilities.

As far as I'm concerned, membership in a political party (especially one of the Totalitarian Two) is a mark against a candidate for any office.
