I think this is maybe about to be the best summer of my life.  That's all.

I am going to Philadelphia this weekend where it is going to be NINETY-TWO DEGREES.  Okay.

So I just submitted a paper for a conference/grad publication.  I have no idea how competitive it is, so no idea what my chances are, or even really how good this paper is.  But I feel accomplished that I did something scary and took a chance on it.

Now I'm going to watch some mindless TV and feel good about myself.  Tomorrow is for exam grading,

Soooo, this time tomorrow I will be 50% done with finals and things.  I am actually feeling like I did a pretty OK analysis of Notre-Dame de Paris that I am turning in tomorrow (once I write a conclusion and cite my secondary sources...), and things will be OK on the exam tomorrow I think, although I really don't know but am mainly relying on my ( Read more... )
