Today, after an hour or so of shopping errands (outside) my iPod froze.  Froze!  I wouldn't register anything when I pressed any buttons on the wheel, it only registered the hold switch on top.  After 3 hours inside, it works fine again (phew).

It is not even Thanksgiving!  My electronic devices are freezing up!

I am not exactly a model graduate student today.

I am so sick of Moliere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have not left the house today, with the exception of a Sudafed run to CVS, in an attempt to get rid of this cold before adventures in Salem tomorrow (train rides and witches, who could ask for more?).

I sat on a red Vespa tonight!!!  Someday I will own one, and ride around the streets of Boston looking chic and European.

This is my promise to myself that today is the start of an October that is going to be full of positive new learning experiences, and void of toxic moments spent dwelling on things that don't matter.

Just when I thought I was going to escape the rest of 2008 wedding-free...Judy got engaged last week.  And they have set the date in December.

On the bright side, I will get to attend my first Jewish wedding.  Stamping on glasses, throwing people up in the air on chairs...this has always sounded like a good party to me.

The last line of this article kills me.  On the other hand, it's kind of funny to see Maureen Dowd and a Catholic priest on the same page (in a way) about marriage, non?
