[he lifts his Keyblade to hold in front of himself in a block-- well, less of a block, more trying to protect himself from taking a blast of wind to the face. Sora stumbles at the blast, but maintains his balance just enough to avoid sprawling.]

[... somehow attacking head-on doesn't seem like such a good idea. once he's regained his bearings, Sora takes off running, circling Frederic as if sizing him up.]

[Frederic watches Sora circling him then holds out his hand and looks as if he's thinking about something, but he disappears and reappears on another side of the field as he begins to ready a fireball spell which are becoming spears of fire that he launches at Sora.]
