I have been intermittently depressed, frustrated, desparate, and hopeful all year long. I am tired of doing this.

I'm sick of disappointing myself. And I want to get better.

Hey, I just logged in to LiveJournal for the first time in years...

Anyways, I'll give you the best advice that I was ever given, advice which to this day I'm still too afraid to follow.

Learn to love yourself. I know how it sounds. I laughed at it, at first.

But, look in the mirror and say I love you, everyday until one day you wake up and you find you really mean it.

I was told that if you manage to accomplish this don't be surprised if you start crying.
