I have been intermittently depressed, frustrated, desparate, and hopeful all year long. I am tired of doing this.

I'm sick of disappointing myself. And I want to get better.

So I took a Greyhound bus down to Gainesville, Florida this weekend so I could spend three days going crazy at punk rock shows and staying with a stranger I met on couchsurfing.com!

So I went to Indianapolis and St Louis last weekend, which was amazing! EJ picked me up, so the least I could do was burn him like five mixes full of songs I thought he'd like that are good for driving. Sometimes I like nights when the song Chicago can break my heart.

I wrote this essay for my Imagining Cities class, since she said that for our final essay we could write anything we wanted, a narrative/descriptive essay, loosely dealing with anything urban.
