Sooo it looks like I'm getting another cockatiel tomorrow. I was just talking about Jack to another volunteer and mentioned how I was thinking about getting a budgie as a companion for him, and she said she knew someone who was trying to rehome one. Blooming Jasmine - This one is a fairly cheap version of the blooming teas, but has a decent taste. I wouldn't say it's anything particularly special but is worth trying for the novelty factor alone- it's quite fun to watch!

I managed to get Jack to eat spinach and cheese today. Which is really a first, since he's not very.. adventurous about new food. But I think he's getting now that some things beside seed are pretty good. He seems to like spinach pretty well, and cheese was interesting, and he loooooves almonds.
