Visited some pet stores today looking at birds- saw the most beautiful cockatiel, not the normal yellow and orange head but entirely black and white and grey, in an almost stripe-like pattern. UGH. Got SO mad today. We had Earth Day at the zoo, so I was busy ALL day long, walking around pretty much from 10AM-3PM. Aaron will be home in two hours. First time in six months I'll have seen him. Yay :)

Had my first session with Mac today! He did bite me once, but not hard- just a warning. He snapped another time, but after that I learned not to give him the opportunity. I did manage to get him up and down the perch and the hand perch several times, and in and out of the carrier, and to his outdoor cage. He talks to me more often now- good sign ( Read more... )
