Well, I just noticed that it's been about 6 months since I last updated. I just don't seem to have the time to keep everything up to date. I don't intend on posting any more here, but keeping it open for now in case.

So, we decided to buy an air compressor. I figured that we could make the cash back in increased fuel economy (back before gas prices dropped like a rock) by keeping our tires filled, but when we looked we found that we could get a more generic compressor/tank and open up a ton of possibilities. So, yesterday I finally got started on my Warhammer 40k army painting.  I painted up 3 Witch Hunter Sisters of Battle with Storm Bolters in my new army scheme.  I picked the Storm Bolter gals because they're not currently in the roster (using a flamer and a heavy flamer in each squad instead), so if I totally messed them up it wouldn't be that big ( Read more... )

This year for our anniversary we decided to get each other tattoos.  (You know, 14 is the ink year, right? :)) We got recommendations for artists in town, and Triple Crown Tattoo was recommended, so we talked to someone there (Zach), and went in to get them done yesterday.

Just picked up Colt.  He did great, and the Vet loved him.  (We're all surprised that anyone would give him up...)  And she concurred with my opinion that he was not treated well in his first home, which is sad -- and all the more amazing that he turned out so well.  But at least we have him now ( Read more... )

It's amazing how quickly things become a part of your life. We just got Colt on Thursday. We had a vet appointment yesterday morning for Colt to get a checkup and to get neutered. That's 4 short days between the time we got him and the time we left him at the vet for the surgery. When we went home after, it felt weird not having him with us. It ( Read more... )
