Well, we finally decided on a name for the new puppy -- Colt.  Nice, short, and fits in with the destruction theme of the other puppies. :)  We finally got "pushed" into figuring out a name so that we could call the vet and make an appointment -- didn't feel right doing that without a name ( Read more... )

One of the Mom's groups that my wife is a part of decided to start a babysitting co-op, and so far it's been working great.  Basically, they all get poker chips, and then use those to trade for babysitting.  (That makes sure that you are actually trading, and not just using.)  She's made arrangements to do every other week watching of the kids with ( Read more... )

Flixxy has a video on 3D printing -- they even print out things like a flashlight, and all on a 3D printer you can put together for around $2000-$3000.  I was thinking about that, and realized that I spent more than that on my first laser printer, and it didn't do nearly what this would...
