It rained sometimes back home, but most of the time it was warm. Comes from living on an island.

Sometimes we'd get some pretty nasty storms, though.

I can imagine. A tropical island would be a pretty cool place to live.

Hurricanes?

More like rain storms. There's some wind, thunder and lightning, but nothing that bad, usually.

[There's a nearly skeletal cat the size of a small pony sitting nearby, all four legs spread out wide and his tail arched like he's hissing except he's not. Aside from the clenched smile of his teeth though, his eyes are all frown, frown, frown as he looks up at the rain soaking him through.]

[Why, it's as if you've never seen a cat before. Even one who goes (voluntarily!) out into the heavy rain.

Shaking his head, almost like a dog, he gives up on his silent stony vigil and turns to head back to town--and shelter when he catches sight of Jacob. Even soaked through, he flicks his tail in curiosity.]

You don't smell right.

I think I smell just fine.

[... staring again. It's a talking, skeletal cat.]

Is it really that hard to be busy here?

It is if you're trying to avoid certain people.

[The hollow inside senses something weird and starts laughing.]

Shut up!

Uh, [cough] I guess you could say it's normal? Karakura's pretty inland, so we don't see as many typhoons.

Karakura? Where's that at?

Japan. It's an all right sized town, I guess. Nowhere near as big as someplace like Tokyo.

Japan, huh? Wow. [Your alarmingly orange hair makes him lift a brow, but oh well.]
