I'm probably the last one to know, but Rowling is publishing! It seems the first version was published last december and while the stories have nothing directly to do with Harry Potter, it's "Dumbledore" who comments on them.

I'm so excited about this! I got an email about it from Barnes & Noble the other day (saying that I could pre-order it). I think it's on the same lines as the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Quidditch Through the Ages books - not about Harry, but about the world he lives in.

The first version (or one copy) was auctioned off to raise money for charity, and bought by (I think) Amazon. They posted all the stories on their website so fans could read them.
