That's pretty bunk. It's a matter of respect from one human being to another; we don't hit. You should have "served" her up a big flaming cup of PAIN SOUP!!!!
yeah, i get that. i was at my new job which is just a little retail store and i was reading my book and there was these 3 old ladies... (they're worse in packs) and i kept trying to make eye contact with them to say hi but they weren't looking at me so i went back to reading my book and then they came around and said really snottty like, "oh i didn't even think anyone was working here." i was like oh, well i'm here if theres anything you need help with... they're like, "well you didn't greeet us at all"... i'm like..... okk.... well i'm sorry? lol. then they kept walking around... like why am i supposed to acknowledge they're presence no one does that other than old women.
