I agree vis-a-vis this movie night business, but what should be watched?

And does Gremlins count as a Christmas movie?

I don't know! I've only seen Gremlins 2.

My picks:
Nightmare before Christmas
Scrooged
Muppet Christmas Carol (which I also haven't seen but have been told it is cute)
Charlie Brown Christmas (<3 Linus x 1,000,000,000)

my favorite Christmas movies are:
  • A Wish For Wings That Work
  • The original How The Grinch Stole Christmas
  • A collection of random 1940s and 50s Christmas cartoons that I got on VHS as a young child
  • A Muppet Christmas Carol
I think that this year I am also going to Netflix the hell out of things I don't have, such as The Muppet Christmas Special and et cetera

I had NO IDEA that "A Wish for Wings that Work" was made into a movie. I remember (when it wasn't being Doonesbury and was just being itself) really enjoying Bloom County as a kid. I need to track this down.
